Taking a Pause

I like how I was posting everyday and just stopped all of a sudden. Sometimes you just need to go with the natural flow of things. I don’t like forcing myself to do something, I like to feel I own my art, and not the other way around.

I just needed to take a break from photography. I didn’t feel like touching my camera for a while. I can’t explain it. There are moments of silence, which can be valuable too. The world is packed with noise. It’s good to think about why you are doing what you are doing.

So there you are, my month of silence.

This is a photo shoot I did with JoJo @travelingPetiteGirl. She is a blogger and photographer based in SF. I love her pose here, feel like Wonder Woman! Look at that abs, she works out!

Photo Shoot with Hannah

Hannah is a fashion and lifestyle blogger based in East Bay, California. We met from an event I put together a few months ago about blogging and photography. Hannah has only been blogging for a year and half but has been showcasing her outfits since 2014 on Instagram.

Hannah is only 19 years old, but she has become a huge inspiration of mine. She said,

“Treat your dream like a job. I would rather give my 100% and fail than half ass succeed.”

She has planned out her content two months in advance on her blog. Respect. That’s all I can say.

When it comes to fashion advice, she says, “Don’t just follow trend, find pieces you like to create your own unique style.”
