Listen to your creative impulse

Hi there,

My name is Emma Li. I’m a street fashion photographer based in San Francisco Bay Area.

I love spotting out people with an unique sense of style on the street and quickly capturing them in the moment. I first started this blog about two years ago when I was working at a coffee shop in downtown SF. I saw many interesting looking people around. It made me wonder what makes certain people’s looks stick. So I took my camera to the street.

I have learned a lot about fashion from talking with people. I use photography as a way to connect with possibly cool strangers. I see my blog as a little bit of journalism, a little bit of photography, and a little bit of story telling. I just go with what my curiosity takes me.

I hope this blog offers you some fashion inspirations. Above all, I just don’t want to stop creating no matter what my profession is. I encourage you to do the same. Have no fear and do what you love to do. Otherwise, what is the point of living? What is the point of life? =P

    1. Hi Malik,
Thank you So much for leaving this heartwarming message!! It means the whole world to me. People like you inspire me to keep going. Somebody was just telling me how impressed she was with your poem! We all need to be the best we could be And lift each other up.
Art is healing. Art is fun. It’s hard to make a living doing it, but we must not stop expressing ourselves.
Again it means a lot to me that you take the time to write such a thoughtful comment and I could only hope that I can pass this level of positivity and generosity to other people. I look forward to reading more of your work in the future too!
