Do you ever feel like you can’t be yourself? Like the world wants you to act and behave certain ways? Well, resit that urge to fit in, because it’s more interesting to lead a life that is unconventional than the other way around. You may actualize your values and dreams only if you stick to what you are about and not what the other people are.
What attracts me to fashion is how we can express ourselves through unique styles. What we wear can be a statement about us. Don’t let this opportunity go to waste. Here I got a Vintage jumpsuit that looks like a painter’s clothes, haha. There might have been a time that I would not be confident enough to wear something like this, but I can totally rock it now. Your life is yours, don’t let what other people think deter you from being who you are and what you want to do, as long as you are not hurting anybody.
So I say wear that bold piece you want to wear, the world would be a much more interesting place because of it. Express your pain and frustration through a constructive and creative way. Lead a creative life, do creative things, you would be a happier person trust me.
How do you live creatively in a not so creative world? I’m not going to tell you exactly how, but here is the principle behind it. You must think outside of the framework. Find what is true to you. Don’t be afraid to express yourself. Don’t take conventional things seriously and think that is the only way. Inspirations are everywhere. Your struggle is not alone. Be bold. Be yourself.
